Lithology and Thickness

Les Argiles d’Azzel Tiferouine Fm is made up of shales, and it is laterally equivalent to the uppermost Les Gres Fm and the basal In Tahouite Fm of the Reggane Basin (van Dijk et al., 2019).

Lower contact

It unconformably overlies the Les Gres de Ouargla Fm.

Upper contact

It is conformably overlain by the Les Gres de Oued Saret Fm.
